Jaguar Land Rover has unveiled the 2026 Range Rover Sport Autobiography in India, which is the first time the top-level Autobiography version is available for the locally made Range Rover Sport. The starting price is Rs 1.6 crore (ex-showroom), and bookings have begun. This model is designed as the most luxurious and performance-oriented in the Sport series, merging comfort with improved driving features. It is offered with local 3.0-litre petrol and diesel engines, while the stronger 4.4-litre V8 model remains imported as a complete unit. This new top-tier version comes with advanced chassis and handling features like Electronic Active Differential with Torque Vectoring by Braking, All-Wheel Steering, Configurable Terrain Response settings, and Dynamic Air Suspension with Dynamic Response Pro. All these technologies aim to improve agility, stability, and adaptation to different driving conditions and terrains.

The interior showcases Range Rover’s modern luxury style. The SUV includes semi-aniline leather seats, an upgraded Full Extended Leather package, illuminated Autobiography sills, and seats that provide massage for added comfort. The Meridian Signature Sound System enhances the premium feel with its excellent sound quality. On the exterior, the Autobiography model features unique design aspects like red brake calipers, special badges, and 22-inch alloy wheels with a satin black finish and glossy black accents. It is available in two new colors: Borasco Grey and Ostuni Pearl White, along with Santorini Black and Carpathian Grey. Rajan Amba remarked that the Range Rover Sport Autobiography is the “ultimate representation of performance luxury” for Indian buyers, blending dynamic performance with superior craftsmanship and exclusivity.

By producing the vehicle locally, it becomes more accessible while offering a wider choice of engines to meet various preferences, further enhancing JLR’s luxury SUV offerings in India.
